UVERworld, is a 5 piece band consisting of TAKUYA∞ (Vocal & Programming), Nobuto (bass), Akira (Guitar), Katsuya (Guitar; band leader) and Shintarou (Drum)

They made their debut in June 2005 with the single D-technolife which is also used as the second opening of the popular animanga - Bleach. It sold a total of 100,000+ copies. Their second single, CHANCE! (2005) is also the theme song for the PSP game of Bleach. Following their third single , just Melody (2006), they released their first album - Timeless (2006). Compared to D-technolife, CHANCE! and just Melody did not sell as much. However, the group made a comeback with their fourth single Colors of the Heart which is used as the third opening of Blood+ SHAMROCK, the fifth single is the ending theme of J-drama Dandori ~Dance Drill~

The group is currently releasing their 6th single - Kimi no Suki na Uta (???????) and a special edition of Timeless!
